These projects are to be put together and created initially as a group of 8 students within the same grade. Find 7 other students that you would like to work with and you must all be able to meet during the same "core" block. This time will be dedicated to work and collaborate together with your group and with your teachers.
Later, each group will then collaborate with another group of 8 from each grade level, creating a larger team of 24 (eight 8th graders, eight 7th graders, and eight 6th graders). Each group of 8 will be made up of different professional roles. Decide, with your team, which roles each student will fill. These include: -2 Project Managers -1 Team Ambassador -1 Secretary -1 Scribe/ Blogger -1 Teacher Liaison -1 Chief "Maker" -1 Research Manager You may find a short description of each of these job titles... *Each student needs to be an equal contributor to the overall project, while also fulfilling their more specific professional role. Once your teams are built and your roles are decided upon, your team secretary should fill out and submit this form. |
